05/16/2008, 7:00 AM - 8:00 AM

Learning Units: 1.00-Advanced level

Training Units: 0.25-Training Area 15 (Office Management)

Good managers know that delegation allows them to become more strategic and focused, deepens the respect they garner, and lets them go home with an empty briefcase and inbox. They also know it is one of the most difficult skills to do well. In this session leaders will learn how to grow through letting go and how sharpening their delegation and authority sharing skills helps them attract and retain the best employees.

Learning Objectives:

  • Determine the criteria for what, when, and to whom to delegate tasks
  • Track commitments made with hands-on practice and customized templates
