Small projects can be exquisite examples of ingenuity and grace. Join the AIA Small Project Practitioners Advisory Group as it celebrates the 2008 honorees of the Small Project Design Awards. The session will examine the advantages, limitations, and distinctive character of each recognized project. Following the formal presentation, you'll confer in small groups with attending award recipients and each recipient will comment on relevant challenges and issues of their projects.

Learning Objectives:
  • Recognize the excellence in design resolution of small projects that demonstrate skill in formal, functional, and technical requirements
  • Translate these best practices advancements and elements into current practices and projects
  • Raise awareness of the value that architects bring to any project, no matter the size
