WE59 Managing Design: An Oxymoron for the Ages?

Explore some of the design management challenges facing firms today through the hands-on experience of four design leaders. There are a choice of options to run a design studio/practice depending on the individual firm's philosophy and business goals. The workshop will inspire members to determine the kind of design firm they want to have and how to manage that aspect of their firm in order to assist in their personal and professional growth and development.

    Determine the design management style that is right for your firm Check relationships between the managers and designers of your firm Assess your firm's ability to create designers that are "on target" with your market area
