E21 Dining at the Firms: Tsoi/Kobus and Associates
05/15/2008, 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM

One Brattle Square, Cambridge (Red Line-Harvard Square Station)

Tsoi/Kobus and Associates (TK&A) was founded in 1983 by Edward T. M. Tsoi, FAIA, and Richard L. Kobus, AIA, FACHA. Since then, TK&A has continued to grow its client list. TK&A has a staff of more than 140 architects, interior designers, planners, and administrative professionals-making it one of the largest architecture and interior design firms in the Boston area. TK&A specializes in four markets: health care, research and development, higher education, and commercial real estate-projects that often involve intensive programs and systems; complex urban contexts; and permitting, operational, budgetary, and schedule challenges.

TK&A's designs for such clients as Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, M. D. Anderson, Suffolk University Law School, and BioMed Realty Trust are having a profound affect on society, advancing the frontiers of knowledge, redefining architectural quality standards, and integrating technology into our daily lives. Since its founding, TK&A has stood for excellence in design and professional client service. Today the firm is widely recognized as an architecture practice of national distinction. Visit www.tka-architects.com for more information about TK&A.

After dinner and a look at some of TK&A's current work, we will enjoy a walk through Harvard Square with a stop at Radcliffe Yard, then down Brattle Street, and back to the square along the Charles River.

E21 Thursday, 6:30-9 p.m., $125
