E24 Dining at the Firms: Shepley Bulfinch Richardson & Abbott
05/15/2008, 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM

2 Seaport Lane, 10th Floor (Silver Line-World Trade Center Station)

Dine at Shepley Bulfinch Richardson & Abbott, located on the 10th floor of the Worldtrade Center East, with extraordinary views of Boston's harbor and the Seaport District, Boston's newest neighborhood.

Shepley Bulfinch Richardson & Abbott, Boston's oldest design firm, is a national practice serving health care, education, science, and civic clients worldwide from its LEED-certified office. Since 1891 the firm has made its home in buildings of its own design. Shepley Bulfinch's office was designed to emphasize creativity, sustainability, and transparency. Many elements of the open plan are flexible and easily adapted to accommodate the changing needs of staff and projects. The office received LEED-CI silver certification in 2007. The firm has been honored with countless awards for its design excellence as well as for its innovation in building envelope technology. Boston is rich with examples of the firm's design work, from Trinity Church (1874) to the award-winning Main South Building of Children's Hospital (2006). Visit www.sbra.com to learn more about Shepley Bulfinch.

Recently completed projects include the University of Michigan Cardiovascular Center in Ann Arbor; Ho Science Center and Case Library at Colgate University in Hamilton, N.Y.; the Worcester Trial Court in Worcester, Mass.; and the Holocaust Human Rights Center, on the University of Maine's Augusta campus. After dinner, enjoy a walk in nearby parks and along the Harborwalk just steps from Shepley Bulfinch's offices.
