Investiture Ceremony
05/16/2008, 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM

The 2008 Fellows will be welcomed into the College of Fellows in the historic Old South Church of Boston. The dissenters who broke from the first Church in Boston to establish the Third Church in Boston (later becoming the Old South Church) emulated the will of the people for freedom of religion and the proclamation of justice, inclusiveness, and reconciliation. The College of Fellows, founded in 1952, is composed of members of the Institute who are elected to Fellowship by a jury of their peers. Elevation to Fellowship recognizes the achievements of these architects and their contributions to architecture and society. It is, simply, one of the highest honors the AIA can bestow upon a member. Help us honor our peers in this Ruskinian inspired church.
