REGISTRATION CATEGORIES

Check below to determine which registration category best describes you and your needs Note: Registration information for key groups not included in the registration categories listed below will receive information under separate cover.

New AIA Member
All first-time architect and associate members who join the AIA between May 6, 2007, and May 17, 2008, receive one complimentary registration, which includes most continuing education programs, expo education programs, general sessions, business meetings, and AIA Expo2008. Preconvention workshops, tours, and events are priced separately. Note: New members must wait 48 hours after their membership is activated before registering online. Registrations are not transferable. Your AIA membership number is required to register as an AIA member.

AIA Member
AIA members in good standing register for $375 on or before February 22, or $425 on or before April 4. After April 4, the on-site registration fee of $475 will apply. Registration in this category includes most continuing education programs, expo education programs, general sessions, business meetings, and AIA Expo2008. Preconvention workshops, tours, and events are priced separately. Visit www.aia.org for a list of membership categories and descriptions. Note: Your AIA membership number is required to register as an AIA member.

Nonmember
Nonmember professionals who are in the design/construction industry but are not AIA members register for $615 on or before February 22, or $695 on or before April 4. After April 4, the on-site registration fee of $775 will apply. Registration in this category includes most continuing education programs, expo education programs, general sessions, business meetings, and AIA Expo2008. Preconvention workshops, tours, and events are priced separately. Note: Those eligible for AIA membership should contact AIA Membership Services, 800-242-3837, or your local component to obtain appropriate dues amounts to join and significantly lower convention registration fees.

Nonmember�One Day Only
Nonmember professionals (see above) who wish to attend the convention for one day only may register for $425. Registration in this category includes most continuing education programs, expo education programs, general sessions, business meetings, and AIA Expo2008 on the day for which you registered. For an additional fee, nonmembers may also register for tours and events offered on the day for which they are registered.

Student
Current architecture students register for $25 on or before February 22 or $35 on or before April 4. After April 4, the on-site registration fee of $45 will apply. Registration in this category includes most continuing education programs, expo education programs, general sessions, business meetings, and AIA Expo2008. Preconvention workshops, tours, and events are priced separately. Note: Valid student ID is required on-site.

Guest
Guests (family member or personal friend, not business associates or staff colleagues) of registered attendees who wish to attend general sessions and AIA Expo2008 register for $40 on or before February 22 or $60 on or before April 4. After April 4, the on-site registration fee of $75 will apply. Tours and events are priced separately. Note: Continuing education programs and expo education programs are not included in this category. Guests who wish to attend those programs must register as an AIA member or nonmember. Continuing education records are not maintained for guests.

Expo Only
Those who wish to only attend AIA Expo2008 register for free. Registration in this category includes general sessions and AIA Expo2008. Note:Those who wish to attend AIA continuing education programs, tours, or events must register as an AIA member, nonmember, or guest.

Public Architects
Those who wish to attend Public Architects Training Workshop register for $515 on or before February 22 or $565 on or before April 4. After April 4, the on-site registration fee of $615 will apply. Registration in this category includes full convention registration (most continuing education programs, expo education programs, general sessions, business meetings, and AIA Expo2008) and PA00 Public Architects Training Workshop.Tours and events are priced separately. Note: If you register in this category, do not register as an AIA member or nonmember.
