Note: 2008 AIA Housing opened during the 2007 convention, so some hotel blocks may be sold out. HOW TO MAKE HOTEL RESERVATIONS To make your hotel reservation, use one of these methods:
Hotels will not accept reservations directly. To reserve the AIA discounted rate at your preferred hotel, AIA Housing must receive your request no later than 5 p.m. (CST), April 16, 2008. Reservations are assigned on a first-come-first-served basis and upon room availability. (If rooms are no longer available in the hotel or at the rate of your choice, you will be placed in the nearest hotel with comparable rates.) Convention rates are guaranteed only until April 16. Do not submit a duplicate copy of your hotel reservation form if already faxed or if registered online. DEPOSITS One night’s deposit, plus applicable sales tax, is required for each room reservation. The deposit will be charged to your credit card or you may send a check (drawn on a U.S. bank in U.S. funds) to AIA Housing. If you do not send a deposit or provide a credit card, your reservation will not be processed. CONFIRMATIONS AIA Housing will acknowledge faxed and mailed reservation forms within 7 to 10 days of receipt. Confirmations will be sent via e-mail when e-mail addresses are provided unless otherwise indicated. Online and phone reservations will be confirmed immediately via e-mail. All processing deadlines and cancellation policies are noted on confirmations. CHANGES/CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS Reservations may be changed or cancelled directly with AIA Housing by telephone, e-mail, fax, or in writing until 5 p.m. (CST) April 16, 2008. Cancellations processed before April 16 will be refunded in the same form of payment as originally made. After April 16, you must cancel directly with the hotel. Reservations cancelled after April 22, but prior to the hotel’s cancellation policy, will be refunded by the hotel under its guidelines. To avoid cancellation charges, cancel no later than five business days before your arrival and be sure to obtain a cancellation number from the hotel.  |
