Discover the latest in green products design trends and technical updates offered by select CES Registered Provider exhibitors. There are more than 70 expo education programs each reviewed for quality and accuracy by AIA-member auditors. Successfully complete a minimum of four different expo education programs and pass a four-question review for each (earning 75 percent per review see sidebar on this page) offered by at least two different Providers in order to accrue one learning unit. Thereafter qualified credit is awarded by the quarter-hour. Expo education sessions do not qualify for health, safety, and welfare (HSW) credit.

EXPO EDUCATION CREDIT

To record your 15-minute learning activity you must complete a four-question review. A score of 75 percent or higher on each review qualifies for .25 learning unit. Attendees must successfully complete a minimum of four different expo education sessions (75 percent per session) offered by at least two different Providers in order to accrue the first learning unit. Thereafter qualified credit is awarded by quarter-hour.

Here is how it works:
   »Attendees receive an Expo Education Answer Sheet from Exhibitor Expo Education Providers.
   »Exhibitor Expo Education Providers proctor a four-question review related to the stated learning objective(s) at the conclusion of each session. Attendees must participate in an entire session to qualify to take the four-question review.
   »Attendees return their completed answer sheet in the designated collection receptacies before leaving the convention. Postconvention submissions will not be accepted.
   »Answer sheets will be graded and credit calculated electronically. Credit will appear on member transcripts as total hours under AIA 2008 National Convention Expo Education.
   »Nonmembers with paid registration may request a Certificate of Completion by emailing conventionspeaker@aia.org.
   »Expo education does not qualify for heath, safety, and welfare credit.
Please be aware that each state with mandatory continuing education (MCE) has its own rules and regulations including its definition of what qualifies for education credit. Therefore certain programs may not receive credit in some states. Check with your state for confirmation of a program's approval.
