Find out why the Utne Reader called it one of the 15 hippest places to live in the United States. We begin with a reserved lunch with your colleagues at one of the Square's ethnic restaurants-Indian, Tibetan, Irish, and down-home Southern barbecue. Learn first-hand why design is now a mini-industry composed of architects, graphic designers, and artists in this thriving neighborhood including offices of J. Stewart Roberts Associates, Mostue & Associates, and Charles Rose Architects. We will stop at several firms where you will get to meet people working in large and small firms on a full range of projects, including housing, commercial, civic, and nonprofit. The tour includes the option to tour Trolley Square, a new affordable housing project located on the Cambridge/Somerville line, adjacent to the Minuteman Bikeway, a wonderful trail that starts in Davis Squarel.
