Tour four innovative educational facilities-two centers for community-based activities involving public school students in multidisciplinary project-based learning and two university lab facilities. Both university facilities are designed to stimulate multidisciplinary interaction; one integrates engineering biology, chemistry, physics around nanotechnology research and the other integrates neuroscience and cognitive science allowing a holistic approach to the study of the brain and the mind. Lunch is included.

  • Implement design techniques associated with community-based learning environments
  • Implement design techniques associated with cutting-edge laboratory facilities
  • Assess approaches to integrating of multiple disciplines and users within a single environment
