THE AMERICAN ARCHITECTURAL FOUNDATION CONTRIBUTION The American Architectural Foundation (AAF) is headquartered at the Octagon, the first national home of the AIA and the oldest museum in America dedicated to architecture and design. The AAF’s education and outreach initiatives foster public participation in the design process, encourage public stewardship of America’s architectural heritage, and promote alliances between architects and the communities where they live and practice.
