Three themes will be explored: the realities of women in the architecture profession-the statistics, the salaries, the future projections; the work-what's fresh, exploring the process and the design outcomes of women design leaders; leadership-what does it look like, feel like, and what are the future challenges? The summary of the workshop will be to gather goals and a call to action for the profession.
Learning Objectives:
- Relay a wide range of contributions from women designers
- Reflect on your career, firm, and policies that will allow further diversity in the architecture profession
- Develop relationships through this workshop that will begin to build a professional network for you to draw on in the future
